Terms and Conditions for Off-Piste Tour Guiding Service at The Lobs, Rusutsu

1. Inclusions:

The fee includes compensation for the scheduled number of tour days.

2. Exclusions:

The fee does not cover ski lift tickets, ski equipment rental fees, ski locker rental fees, shuttle fees, meals, personal insurance, and other personal expenses.

4. Preparation and Punctuality:

(a) Before the commencement of any off-piste tour, participants must secure ski lift tickets and complete the necessary ski equipment rentals.
(b) Participants must be on time at the designated meetup point. Delays resulting from personal reasons will not warrant compensation or refund. A delay exceeding 90 minutes will be treated as a voluntary cancellation by the participant.

5. Unforeseen Circumstances:

In the event of disruptions due to reasons like weather conditions, ski resort closures (official announcements take precedence), or other unforeseen circumstances not attributable to either party, participants should reach out using the methods specified in Clause 3. Refunds will not be issued for services within the fee unused due to personal reasons.

6. Safety Regulations:

(a) Helmets are mandatory throughout the tour. Refusal to wear one might result in a tour’s voluntary cancellation.
(b) Children below the age of 7 or those not toilet-trained are ineligible for the tours. Please inform us of any participants not meeting age requirements at the time of reservation.

7. Special Provisions:

(a) Parents or guardians must accompany children outside tour hours.
(b) Senior citizens (65+), pregnant women, and those with specific ailments cannot enroll. Inform us of any non-compliance during registration.

8. Compliance with Local Rules and Safety Protocols:

All participants must adhere to local ski resort rules, Japanese traffic regulations, and other pertinent standards and laws. Participants are also expected to respect and follow directives from the tour guides and The Lobs, Rusutsu staff at all times.

9. Modifications:

Requests to alter reservations (date, participant count, tour type) should be made at least 14 days before the scheduled date via methods in Clause 3. All changes are subject to approval by The Lobs, Rusutsu.

10. Cancellation Policy:

(a) Cancellations made 61 days (or more) before the tour: 5% fee.
(b) Cancellations made 15 to 60 days before the tour: 20% fee.
(c) Cancellations made 14 days or less before the tour: 100% fee.
Exceptions due to unforeseeable circumstances will be processed as 61-day prior cancellations.

11. Obligation of Informing:

The primary booker must inform all participants, including minors and guardians, about these terms and ensure mutual agreement.

12. Governing Laws:

All matters related to these terms will be governed by Japanese law, societal norms, and principles of good faith.

13. Modifications to Terms:

The Lobs, Rusutsu reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any given time without prior notice.
