Terms and Conditions

  1. Travel Insurance: All participants are required to have valid travel insurance. The Lobs will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages incurred before, during, or after any service provided.
  2. Exclusions: Prices listed do not include lift passes, rental equipment, or lunch.
  3. Private Lesson Pricing: The quoted price for private lessons covers up to three participants per session.
  4. Full-Day Private Lessons: A full-day private lesson consists of six consecutive hours of on-snow instruction. Participants must take a lunch break of at least 45 minutes at their preferred time during the day.
  5. Half-Day Private Lessons: A half-day private lesson consists of three consecutive hours of on-snow instruction.
  6. Weather-Related Cancellations: Lessons may be canceled due to weather conditions. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, no cancellation fees will apply. Only official resort staff may declare the mountain closed.
  7. Force Majeure: The Lobs shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, pandemics, or any other events that make it impracticable or impossible to conduct the lessons.
  8. Booking Adjustments: The Lobs reserves the right to adjust bookings as necessary. Once an inquiry is made, a payment link will be provided to the guest or agent. If payment is not received within the specified period, The Lobs reserves the right to cancel or release the booking.
  9. Payment Terms: Payments must be made in full within the specified period after receiving the payment link. Acceptable payment methods include bank transfer and credit card. All payments must be made in Japanese Yen (JPY) unless otherwise specified. Deposits or installment payments are not accepted unless agreed upon in writing by The Lobs.
  10. Payment Charges: All bank charges related to payment via bank transfer are the responsibility of the customer.
  11. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 90 days of the scheduled lesson will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Guests are responsible for all bank fees and associated costs related to providing refunds. Cancellations due to injury will receive a refund, minus an administrative fee of JPY10,000. To qualify for a refund, a valid medical certificate from a local medical facility must be submitted within 24 hours of the injury, confirming the participant is unfit for snow sports.
  12. Third-Party Cancellations: Any cancellation fees for activities or restaurants booked through third parties are the responsibility of the guest.
  13. Punctuality: Lessons will not be extended or rescheduled due to the guest’s late arrival, regardless of the reason.
  14. Medical Conditions and Health Warranty: Participants with medical conditions or health concerns must inform The Lobs at the time of lesson registration. By booking a lesson, participants warrant that they are physically fit and capable of participating in snow sports activities.
  15. Instructor Availability: For bookings spanning multiple days, guests should be aware that different instructors may be assigned on different days.
  16. Safety Equipment: For safety reasons, we recommend that all participants wear helmets, wrist guards, and protective gear.
  17. Customer Conduct: Participants are expected to comply with all instructions provided by instructors and adhere to resort rules and regulations. The Lobs reserves the right to terminate a lesson without refund if a participant’s behavior is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
  18. Photography and Media Release: The Lobs may take photographs or videos during lessons for promotional purposes. By participating in our lessons, you consent to the use of such images for marketing and promotional activities. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform us in advance.
  19. Liability Waiver: The Lobs, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any lost or stolen equipment, accidents, injuries, or fatalities that occur before, during, or after a lesson.
  20. Lesson Changes: Requests for changes to the lesson date, time, or format (including switching between ski and snowboard lessons) will not be accepted once the lesson has been confirmed. Any such requests will be treated as cancellations and will require a new booking.
  21. Service Availability: All services are subject to availability.
  22. Policy Amendments and Updates: The Lobs reserves the right to amend, modify, or update any terms and conditions or policies outlined in this document without prior notice. Significant changes will be communicated to customers via our website and/or email notifications.
